Is it for all levels of fitness and experience?
The circuit format allows you to start and finish your workouts whatever time suits you. The equipment is very 'user-friendly' and you have full instruction and supervision. You can regulate your intensity levels individually so it is perfect for beginners and experienced exercisers alike

Do we have set class times?
The format allows members to start and finish their sessions whenever it suits. The sessions are roughly 30 minutes and you spend a set duration( either 40 or 60 seconds) on each station. This means no queuing for equipment.

How does the equipment work?
The hydraulic equipment supplies fluid resistance which is smoother than traditional gym equipment. This means less 'jarring' and less chance of injury. The design of the equipment means you work opposite muscle groups on the same machine, encouraging postural balance and training the whole body efficiently.

What are the benefits of exercise?
The hydraulic circuit is designed to combine cardio-vascular fitness training, muscular strength and endurance, flexibility and stability improvements. The flow-on benefits may include more energy, better functional strength and stable movement, better sleep patterns, reduction in risk of many health issues (including high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes), increase in bone density and an increase in confidence and self-esteem.

How many sessions a week should I do and for how long?
You are not limited to how many sessions you can do at the centre. However, it is sensible to recommend 2-3 times a week to start with. Sessions are generally 30 minutes in duration, but you have the ability to stop when you feel you have done enough. We encourage our members to work out at a comfortable level and only increase their effort when ready.

What if i have an injury/medical condition?
We do a health screen before you start. This will enable us to recommend any adjustments to your sessions prior to beginning. If needed, we can liase with your medical professional to help us formulate your sessions.If you have pre-existing medical conditions, we do recommend getting a doctors clearance prior to commencement just to be sure. In most cases, gentle, controlled exercise is an important facet of injury/ illness recovery.

Do I have to join up for 12 months?
NO. Our memberships are month-to-month, which means you don't have to commit to a long term contract. It also gives you the flexibility of having time off in between months if you are planning to travel.
